Dr. Basel H. Almisshal's Bio and expertise . . .

Dr. Basel Almisshal is an Architectural Engineer with a Masters degree in Post-war Recovery Studies from the University of York in the United Kingdom. Dr. Basel Almisshal has also completed his PhD thesis on United Nations state-building operations at York. Dr. Basel Almisshal has a wide range of experience in the fields of urban development, post- war reconstruction and human capacity building gained through research, field work and teaching in the Middle East, former Yugoslavia, Indonesia and Africa.

Dr. Basel Almisshal runs the Basel Group that provide professional consultations and services ranging from architecture to branding and advertising on an international level. The Basel Group was established in 2004 in the UK under the brand name BaselOnline for Creative Solutions. BaselOnline has extensive experience in marketing solutions for corporate, educational and charitable organizations. The company's excellent reputation has landed it contracts with world-renowned organizations such as Al Jazeera International, Zurich Financial Services, RE/MAX International, as well as government establishments in the UAE and Qatar.

Dr. Basel Almisshal joined IAED this year (2009) with the aim of bringing tangible development opportunities to third world countries and contributing to IAED projects and training programs.
